LXV People:
Sebastian Sandys has been reading books for longer than he cares to think about and has been selling them for the last five years.Books are his abiding passion and he is happy to spend hours talking about them, recommending them and reading them.He is currently reading The Bridge Over the Drina, a novel by Yugolav writer Ivo Andric and thinks it may be only the second Nobel prize winning book he has read; which is frankly a bit of a worry.
Andreas Wallin Hageving learned to read late but took to it early and has ever since been on a great journey where the biggest pleasure is to discover something new one can always come back to.
Poetry is his passion and language and languages are constant sources of happiness in his life.
He is currently enrolled at the Open University and is consequently (to everyone's chagrin) not seen in the shop as often as he once was.
Leon Thompson is the latest recruit to the LXV team.
Leon is a campanologist, with an abiding passion for Bethnal Green and its environs.
He is currently volunteering at the shop, reading the stock voraciously and promises to write a history of bell ringing in Tower Hamlets.
